SOLD OUT. Very sorry, but the last copy of the limited edition "STORY OF CHICKENMAN" collector's package has been sold.
But wait…
If you're a Dick Orkin fan, you can download this audio seminar in which he explains how he has come up with so many creative ideas for Chickenman, The Secret Adventures of the Tooth Fairy, and of course the thousands of brilliant Radio Ranch radio commercials.

I first discovered this superhero as a teen listening to WHHY/Y102 in Montgomery, AL. Where I lived and due to the time it aired in the AM several of us would tune in to the FM Y102 in the evenings when they aired it again. I could see this guy in my mind and this is one of the things that drew me into a career in radio. So glad I bought this set years ago.

Back in the 70’s while in a Chicagoland high school, this very shy student was introduced to Chickenman as an example of radio humor by my speech teacher. WELL, as soon as my geshtunkana ray wore off, I was no longer shy, got a radio show at the school station and a big fan of all of Dick Orkin’s work.. I buy copies of Chickenmann and the Tooth fairy for many of my friends as gifts.

I grew up with Chicken Man on the radio every day. It's still funny and entertaining. My grand children want to listen every time they come over.

Okay, I know that is a Col. Sander's reference, and this review is about Chickenman, but I couldn't resist.
Chickenman, is really funny, you should get a copy for your very own.
The extras are really good; you get an autographed photo of chickenman, tooth fairy chickenman bookmark, and two CDs containing interviews. The packaging is really nice too.
So, it's well worth the price. If you remember the chickenman series, or you don't.
You will enjoy it, it is really funny!!

Takes me back to my days as an Airman in Alaska listening to AFRN. ChickenMan was a big part of my radio experience.

Love the fact that you offer this gem from my childhood. I remember waiting every weekday to hear the latest installment of the stories. It was fortunate that the Cleveland (I think it was WIXY) station ran the show at a time that coincided with school recess, so we could gather around a transnistor radio to hear it.

The thinking person's superhero, fighting crime and making the world a nicer place while impeded by his mother, the Mayor, Miss Hellfinger and a cast of worthy villians.

My mom bought the Chickenman set of CDs from you several years ago for a Christmas present for me, It has been several years since I have listened to them. When my parents were visiting a few weeks ago they were telling my two younger boys (8 & 9) about growing up listening to the radio as a family because there wasn't TV. My boys are now big fans of Chickenman and are really enjoying those old radio shows. There's a chance I may have to buy another copy...either as a gift to one of them or to replace the set I have because I may never get them back.

I grew up listening to Chickeman back in the mid-70's. The episodes played on the Johnny Walker show on 1300 WFBR in Baltimore. Chickenman was a classic then and still is today. Thanks to everyone involved making sure Chickenman is heard by the masses now and for many years to come.
