Yes, now you can have Gary Owens — radio's best-known and funniest voice — as your show's very own announcer, interrupting to remind your listeners, "This portion of the show is being brought to you by..."
...followed by a wonderfully silly sponsor line. This terrific CD features 250 great recorded drop-in lines —
— fully licensed for local broadcast.
Written & produced by Dan O'Day and voiced by Gary Owens, they're guaranteed to dramatically increase your show's laughter quotient.
And just think: With 250 great lines, you could run two per show in alternate hours, 5 days a week...and never repeat a line in the same hour for two years!

Having the original SSS on LP (autographed by Gary Owens!) I was delighted to get the CD version (which, for some reason, is missing two bits from the original: "Mom's Munitions" and "Thnaks!"). Still, it's a great way to remember G.O. and his ability to say the silliest things with a voice of authority.

The amazing and unique voice of Gary Owens with HUNDREDS (count 'em!) of funny, spoof 'sponsor' inserts. Naturally, some of them are a bit past their sell-by date by now, but the package contains so many clips that it doesn't really matter! Worth every penny in my book.

If you're looking to add extra punch to your comedy arsenal, there is no way you can pass on anything by Gary Owens. And with his passing, his comedy output isn't going to grow. You will not regret this purchase.

Long before Leslie Nielsen started playing comedic movie and television roles, reading absurdly funny lines deadpan ... there was Gary Owens.
These are also absurdly funny, just like the man himself was. And he reads every one as if it were a serious pitch for a real business.
And of course, there was that VOICE. The one so many of us heard on Laugh-In back in the 1960s. (And G.O. was as deadpan reading those dropins as he is here.)
I was fortunate to know this wonderfully silly man the last several years of his life and I can tell you he enjoyed recording these every bit as much as you will enjoy zeeblefetzering them.
So buy this. Now. Before the krelbs surcharge increases.

Radio folks will relate: they say three moves equals one fire. Thus, my third purchase of the classic "GARY OWENS SILLY SHOW SPONSORS"! (My first order actually goes back to vinyl...and the CD is lots easier to store!) I've used these on the air, on stage, and now on podcasts. Maybe it's just me -- but these are STILL laugh out loud funny! Gary Owens is a true star (and was, long before "Laugh In".) This is one way to keep a piece of his audio legacy front & center.

In my early days of radio, before I eventually moved to LA to do animation voice work and met THE MAN HIMSELF, Gary was an inspiration in many ways. With SILLY SHOW SPONSORS, I could always elicit a laugh at just the right moment, especially when things were dragging a bit.

We love the SILLY SHOW SPONSORS a lot! We've put them in 'sandwich jingles' out of news/traffic....acappella - "Archer & Valerie, KSOF, KSOF" - silly sponsor - "Soft Rock 98.9" into music. Sounds fantastic for a top-of-hour imager/bit all in one!

It's GREAT! I'm a fan of Gary Owens all the way back to the days of 'Laugh-in,' 'Superfun,' 'Space Ghost,' etc.
